The Commonwealth of Virginia is working to create a higher standard of living for its citizens, enhance local economies, and increase revenues to local governments such as Page County.
Investing in the Future
Incentives are Virginia's investment in its economic future and a business decision for both the Commonwealth and the company. As a result, they must make good fiscal sense for all parties. Designed to target the needs of the company and the development plans of localities and the state, we offer a variety of performance-based incentives. From tax credits to tax exemptions, Virginia and Page County continue to demonstrate their willingness to invest in those who invest and reinvest in our county and the Commonwealth.
How Incentives Are Awarded
All incentives are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the EDA. There is not a one-model-fits-all mentality; the type of assistance offered, the level of assistance, and the duration of assistance are all carefully tailored to individual business needs.
